VectorY combines the therapeutic potential of vectorized antibodies to develop long lasting therapeutic solutions for large disease areas of high unmet medical need. Founded in August 2020, and based in the Amsterdam Science Park, VectorY is a fully integrated vectorized antibody company focused on the development of innovative therapeutics. At this moment we are seeking a driven HR Director capable of handling strategic responsibilities but also responsible for operational HR tasks. The basis of your work as our Human Resources Director is to run a sound and clear HR policy and process. These processes are the essential basis of your work.
Main responsibilities of the role:
Develop and implement HR Strategies aligned with business objectives.
Advise the management team on HR-related matters.
Continuously improve HR processes and procedures.
Employee engagement: developing and implementing strategies to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and productivity. You'll create an atmosphere where our team feels valued and excited to come to work.
HR policies and compliance: crafting and maintaining HR policies to ensure they align with legal requirements and best practices.
Employee relations: manage employee relations issues and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, where everyone feels respected and valued.
Act as first point of contact for all HR related questions and follow up.
Operational HR tasks like register sickness, administer employee health and safety plans, and act as case manager between employee and ARBO contact.
Coordinate the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to development and retention.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master in a relevant field.
At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar position within an international work environment where Dutch employment law applies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Experience with Dutch employment visas, 30% rulings, leave allowances, and work contracts.
Great communicator, easy to work with and for, people centric.
Not afraid to take initiative.
You are flexible, systematic and hands-on.
